Kidney Bean Burger Recipe

So fast and easy!


1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed (or the equivalent of home cooked beans)

2/3c. GF breadcrumbs

3 Tbsp cornstarch

1/8 tsp ground cumin

1/8 tsp smoked paprika

salt, to taste


Mash the beans by hand, or in food processor, adding water as needed. Add the cornstarch, spices and breadcrumbs. Mix and form small patties. Lightly pan fry in olive oil or your oil of choice - ca. 3 minutes per side.


These taste particularly good served with Dijon mustard.


Or, on top of a salad, or in a bun, wrapped in a lettuce leaf... so many options!
